An amazing reading specialist and my predecessor in my current position posted this photo on Facebook, along with the status: "Yes, I like Green Eggs and Ham! Thank you! Thank you! Sam-I-Am."
Which prompted me to post that tomorrow afternoon, after the final egg hunt has been completed, Caroline, Camden and I will sit with our green eggs (and red! and blue! and pink!) and read Theodore Geisel's classic. Feel free to steal the idea.
Literacy is learned, and it begins at home! As a reading specialist and mother of two, I plan to put theory into practice, testing out all of my esteemed professors' claims on my adorable test subjects, Caroline (3.5) and Camden (1)! Follow our adventures through emergent and beginning literacy (with a little bit of transitional and independent reading activities thrown in for spice!)
Where Should I Get Started?
